Feliz Cumpleanos Nico!

At Christmas our family was given a gift certificate to Grand Rios Hotel and Water Park from our employees. Joel and I really were not sure when we would use it, so we decided to take Nico there for his birthday! Yesterday we left after church, had a nice lunch and then made our way to Grand Rios. On our way down to where the park is located, Nico was telling us about our past presidents, we sang the National Anthem and Nico wondered if we had ever heard it before? Oh he is so smart and learning so many things. Nico said that he plans on teaching his little sister a few things! We agreed, he probably would!! We had a wonderful time, the park was a blast, the food was dah-lish, (I had a little beef with the hotel reservation guy, but I will address that in a near future letter), the room was nice and so we all had a good time and it was FREE! Nico said, "This is the best birthday I ever had." Out of six, two or three of which he can remember, I guess it would be a pretty decent one! Thanks Nico for being such a passionate, compassionate, smart, witty, cute and energetic guy! We love you!!
