Today Joel's parents are celebrating their 50th Anniversary! We are proud of them. They are a great example of sticking it out "for better or for worse"! Marriage can be such a roller coaster of great times together and tough times. I know that theirs has been filled with lots of good! They have raised six children and currently are enjoying 12 Grand-children. They are waiting for their 13th to come to the United States! Joel, Nico and I will be heading up this weekend to their place to celebrate them and their many years together. Thanks Mom and Dad for being such a great example to all of us kids! We love you!!

Dear Joel, Lori and Nico, Thank you so much for the anniversary note and picture. I remember it being taken a few Christmases ago at the lake.
