Keeping his options open...

All week I have been showing Nicolai different sports that are on in the Olympics in hopes to peak his interest in something. I tried showing him Fencing, I think it would be a great sport for him. It requires him to strategies and it's physical and quick! I might look into a Fencing camp next Summer, we will have to see! Right now Nicolai is too interested in his latest little girlfriend, Shawn Johnson!! He loves her!!

if I were a little boy, I would be soooo into Shawn too....your little man has good taste!

as soon as we sat down at our table, I asked Jack how he knew I was gonna need "this"...God is soooo good.

My daughter is so into the Olympics. She watches any sport that is on. She loves gymnastics and I'm thinking about looking into taking her to a local class. Maybe your son would be interested in that.

What are we going to do when the games end? ;o)

ALTHOUGH WRESTLING MIGHT NOT BE POPULAR IN OLYMPICS..I DON'T KNOW THAT,,BUT I KNOW MY IN-LAW'S ENROLLED THEIR "VERY BUSY" SON IN THAT AND IT'S A GREAT INDIVIDUAL YET TEAM SPORT. IT'S HANDS ON, AND IT'S GOT RULES, AND IT'S YOUR OWN PERSONAL GOALS, ACHEIVEMENTS...JUST A THOUGHT!

Thanks guys - I've had Nico in a tumbling class, wrestling, karate, soccer and t-ball. The only one that has seem to stick is the karate so far. We will continue that, but I would like to challenge him further so I'm looking to something that would challenge his intelligent mind and is physical. They say fencing is both - and is great for students of his calibar (sp?).
