Remember When?

Sonja's first pontoon ride at Grandma and Grandpa's!

What a whirlwind week! We headed Northwest to Joel's parents near Detroit Lakes on Tuesday the 3rd. Enjoyed our week and July 4Th celebration with the family.

We then headed Northeast to the Iron Range for my 20Th Class Reunion on Saturday, July 7Th. Joel and I took our sweet time getting up there. We stopped off in Pelican Rapids for some brunch and toured the town a little bit.
We then headed to Shelly and Craig's to freshen' up and get ready for the party.

It was an interesting but fun evening! It was nice to catch up with those that showed up. Everyone was hoping that more would have shown, especially the locals!! What's up with that?!! Some of the locals came, but several did not.

Michelle, our class president, put on for us a casual evening at a country club and hoers De' oeuvres(spelling? - aw whatever - finger foods). Most voted to head over to a local bar in Nashwauk, the town where we graduated from. There were pictures and memorabilia hanging on the wall that was fun to see! We asked the question several times, Remember When?!

Michelle is in the third picture from the top sitting next to me to the left.

Joel and I spent the night at Shelly and Craig's (best friend from HS) and then got up early to head back to Detroit Lakes, pick up the kids, pack and head home again!
Whew!

It was interesting to hear about the where-abouts everyone is and catch up with their lives. Thank you Shelly and Craig for a wonderful stay at your home. Thank you Michelle for putting on another class reunion. Thank you Mom and Pop's for the bed, food and fun over the fourth!

Class of 87' Rules!!!

Shelly and I right after our late evening of talking with friends!

Nice fun time--glad you enjoyed! I must agree with others, Lori. You look really good. Keep up the good work.
I don't know if you're at your computer today, but I came by to ask you to come over to my place and sign my hubby's birthday card. It wouldn't be complete without you!
